Okay, no, I really fail. It's been over a year since my last one.
Not a ton has really happened in that year either. My "doll family" is still at one lonely Unoa Lusis. I'm still living in the same place. I'm still working in the same place. Most things are still the same.
There are two new things though!
New thing number one: I adopted a ferret back in November. He's an adorable little guy my husband and I decided to name Zacharus, after an ancient Celtic god of thievery (which is more than appropriate for him, he loves hiding stuff).
New thing number two: A new-to-me laptop. It has actually really never been used before, but was the end result of a huge customer service snafu my husband's boss dealt with a while ago. It has been languishing in the office and he gave it to my husband to fix up and keep if he could get it running. As it turns out the only reason it wasn't running was that it's power cord was bad! The only other problem was that it's LCD had been completely smashed in shipping. However, under $100 later and I have a new laptop! It may not be the best around, but omg just about anything would be better than the dinosaur my 5 year old laptop had turned in to! This is a dream come true for me, I can multitask on the computer again, it's great!
I think that about covers it. I may try and post some of the amigurumi and doll clothes and stuff I've been working on lately, but I don't know if I'll get around to it or not! If nothing else I try and not wait another whole year to update my journal. At the very least I'll probably have an update of some sort in early fall as I'll be moving then, hopefully to a house rather than an apartment/condo/townhouse/duplex. My husband and I are VERY tired of sharing walls with people who can't be bothered to follow the rules we would rather not have to follow (but do, because we're considerate and respectful) either!
